What is DivvyDeal?
DivvyDeal connects local area businesses to potential consumers like you. Our goal is to bring a singular deal to you every day and we aim to give you over 50% savings on local goods and services available in your city, through "Group Buying Power."

Is it free to sign up?
Yes, it doesn’t cost you a penny. There are NO membership charges…It's completely free to view the deals, so please sign up for your email reminder to keep up to speed with the latest and greatest from your city.

How do I sign up?
You can sign up on our web site. Signing up for our daily deal email alerts ensures you'll get a reminder every day we have a deal in your city. It's a great way to keep up to date with what’s new and exciting at DivvyDeal.com. Plus, email is an easy way to tell your friends about our fantastic deals. In order to make a purchase of one of our deals of the day and obtain your voucher, you would need to register on our web site. But you're not required to sign up just to view the deals! You can also follow us using Facebook and Twitter so it is even easier to tell your friends about the deals you think they will enjoy.

So, what’s the “DivvyDeal”?
Well, DivvyDeal partners up with local Bars, Restaurants, Salons, Spas and other great places and service providers in your city and negotiates deals that we pass onto you. That deal is then featured through DivvyDeal.com as a Deal of the Day. So it’s a great display of team work - we do all the hustling to get you the amazing offers and you do all the divvying to get the deal! Sounds good, run it by me again...

Each morning at 5:30 am DivvyDeal features a local area business on our site delivering an amazing deal straight to you. If you want to get in on the discount, securely purchase the deal with a credit card from our web site. To make sure we meet our collective goal, please tell your family, friends and co-workers and help to seal the deal. We encourage you divvy out the deal by spreading the word to your friends by using email or social media even from our mobile website. Once we meet our target tipping point, you are guaranteed the purchase of that deal and receive email confirmation - only then do we charge your credit card.

What happens if we don’t reach the target?
In the event our target goal of purchase is not reached, then no one gets the deal and your credit card wouldn't be charged. By spreading the word, you make sure you can get the deal...so make sure your divvy out the deal!

Great, the deal is on, now what?
Once the deal is sealed, you can still share this amazing offer with your network of friends and family. But keep in mind, when the feature finishes running (at 4:29 am) the deal is stopped. So don't wait until it's too late, we don’t want to miss out. Some deals may have a maximum amount sold, or limit. If that happens before the feature finishes running, the deal ends once that maximum is reached and everyone who purchased the daily deal by this point will be charged. The following morning DivvyDeal will email or text you with the confirmation and your voucher, so you can use the deal you purchased without the inconvenience of having to find a printer.

Can I buy the deal the following day?
Regretfully not - Every day we offer a brand new deal, so if you see a deal you want, buy it before the deal either sells out or the clock stops ticking. We don't want you to miss out any of our fantastic deals! “Carpe Diem” – that is our motto!

Is my information safe with you?
Absolutely - We use a trusted and verified secure credit card system to make sure your personal information and credit card information is kept 100% safe. Your credit card information is transmitted over a secure and encrypted SSL connection.

What’s the amount you will bill me?
You will be billed the feature advertised purchase amount of your voucher; not one penny more. If you purchase multiple vouchers, you will be charged the amount on the voucher per number of items purchased.

Can I use the voucher on the same day it was purchased?
You won't receive access to your voucher from DivvyDeal until the following day.

How long do I have to redeem my voucher and does it ever expire?
Each deal may have different terms and conditions, so please refer to the deal-specific terms and conditions on our website. As a reminder, the deal’s terms are printed on your voucher (email only not SMS Text vouchers so please refer to your email). Any limitations or conditions are specified by the merchant and not by DivvyDeal.

What happens if say the bill is $25 and the voucher is worth $30?
The voucher is worth face value for goods and services at its specified location. What that means is, you must use your voucher in its’ entirety, as there will not be any monetary change given back to you. A new voucher will not be mfeaturee for any of the difference??? UNKNOWN MEANING?. So go and spoil yourself a little bit more… Please note that your voucher is good only for goods and services; you will not be able to use any remaining balance towards tip or tax.

Are there any hidden terms or conditions?
Terms and conditions are not hidden and they will vary with each deal as the deal’s terms are created directly by the merchant. However, all the terms and conditions are visible right there on the deal of the day, and are also printed on your voucher (only in the email version not the SMS Text version so please refer to your email).

How about tipping?
That’s up to you… if you decide to tip then we recommend you calculate the tip value based on the total value of the bill not the value of the voucher.

If the Merchant does not honor my voucher, what happens?
In the highly unlikely event that this happens and there is any issue with your voucher, please contact us right away on 508-558-0000 or send us an email at support@DivvyDeal.com. We will contact the business owner and get the issue resolved for you as soon as possible. Best practice is to present the voucher before ordering. Sometimes you may need to call and book ahead – see terms and conditions on the email voucher. In the unlikely event that it is required we do have a returns policy???? DO WE!!.

Can I purchase multiple vouchers?
That depends on the deal which may be restricted to one deal per email sign up but other deals might allow multiple purchases. That type of purchasing information will be published at DivvyDeal.com in the Small Print of the Daily Deal.

Can I let someone else use the voucher as a gift?
Of course you can divvy up the deal however you like... you may gift the voucher to a family member, friend or buy one of our gift cards from our web site.

What’s your return policy?
If you need to return your voucher, please call us at 508-558-0000 or contact customer service via email at: returns@DivvyDeal.com and we’ll try and keep you happy and see what we can do for you.

What if the Company goes out of business before I use my voucher?
Please contact us at: returns@DivvyDeal.com we will rectify the issue immediately.

Can you explain what a temporary authorization is?
A temporary authorization happens when we test to confirm that your credit card is valid and/or has sufficiently available credit. You have not been billed at the temporary authorization stage - We only bill you once the deal your purchased has hit the target – this will be on the same day or not at all.

When will I receive my DivvyDeal voucher?
If you placed your order within the last 24 hours, it should be on its way to your inbox or mobile phone. To find out the status of your order, please click the "New Account" link at the top right hand side of our site to check your order's status. PERHAPS NOT DEPENDANT ON HOW WE GO LIVE BUT WILL BE ADDED SHORTLY

How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?
Click the "New Account" link at the top right hand side of our site to view orders you have placed. Then click the "Change quantities / cancel orders" link to find and edit your order. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has shipped, the order is no longer editable.

I never received my DivvyDeal.
As long as the deal was ‘activated’ and you successfully completed the purchase process, your DivvyDeal should have been delivered via email or text message, to the email address and/or mobile number listed within your account; this will be sent to you within 24 hours of when we processed your order. If you did not receive your DivvyDeal, please check to see if it is in your spam filter. If your DivvyDeal voucher is not in your spam filter, please contact us.

The DivvyDeal I received was not what I ordered.
If you received the wrong DivvyDeal, please contact us immediately and we will make sure you get the correct DivvyDeal straight away!

How do I create a DivvyDeal account?
1. Click the "New Account" link at the top right side of our site.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Select "I am a new customer."
Then simply follow the prompts to complete setting up your account. Your information is NEVER sold to any other company and is kept completely private. Please view our Privacy Policy for more information.

How do I edit my account information?
In order to edit your account information, please click the "New Account" link at the top right hand side of our site.

I forgot my password.
Click the "New Account" link at the top right hand side of our site. Under the login box you'll see a link that says "Forgot your password? Click here." That link will send an email to you with your password.

How do I buy or redeem a gift certificate?

Can I give a DivvyDeal as a gift? Can I give my DivvyDeal as a gift?
You can most certainly give DivvyDeals as a gift and the recipient would love you to do so! DivvyDeal gift certificates can be purchased 24 hours a day, seven days a week from our website. However, if you bought a DivvyDeal for yourself in your account, your DivvyDeal was printed exclusively for you, in your name, and the Merchant is expecting you to redeem it.

Do you have a Refer-a-Friend Program?
Starting in June, 2010 you will be able to get $20 for every friend you refer to DivvyDeal! You will be able to read all about it on our web site under our “referral program” once the program has been officially published.


Enjoying My DivvyDeal:

If I don't use the full value of my DivvyDeal in one visit, can I use the remainder later?
Unfortunately you can’t, so don’t forget to splurge! But we try to make the DivvyDeal redemption value ‘just the right amount’ so you shouldn’t run into that problem.

How long do I have to wait to use my DivvyDeal once I've purchased it?
Unless the Special Instructions on your DivvyDeal instruct otherwise, which they rarely do, you can enjoy your DivvyDeal as soon as it arrives in your email inbox or onto your Mobile phone if you specified one!


Pricing and Billing:

Do I have to pay sales tax?
No. You do not have to pay sales tax on your DivvyDeal and you will not be charged any sales tax on your order. You will, however, depending upon your state sales tax laws, be charged sales tax at the time of "consumption," when you redeem your DivvyDeal.

I have a question on my charges.
Click the "New Account" link at the top right hand side of our site to review your orders. You may compare your order history on our website, with your financial records. If you have further questions, comments or concerns, please contact us.

I need a copy of my receipt/invoice.
Click the "New Account" link at the top right hand side of our site to print invoices.

When will my credit card be charged?
If the deal activates, your credit card will be charged within 24 hours of placing your order.
